Claims & Disclaimers
This page defines what Vraimony does and what it does not claim. We position strictly as integrity-only (tamper-evident). No legal advice.
What Vraimony does
- Computes content hashes (SHA‑256) and records them in receipts.
- Signs receipts (Ed25519) to make them tamper‑evident.
- Lets anyone verify receipt structure + signature, and optionally compare a local file hash.
- Produces court-friendly formats (PDF/PNG/JSON) for review workflows (no ZIP).
What Vraimony does NOT claim
- No guarantee of admissibility or court acceptance.
- No guarantee of winning a dispute or chargeback.
- No proof of truth, identity, authorship, intent, delivery, or condition.
- No notarization, government certification, or “qualified” trust service claims.
Approved wording (safe marketing)
- “Integrity verification only (tamper‑evident).”
- “Helps verify whether a receipt was modified.”
- “Supports auditability (what existed when).”
- “No tracking. Hash‑only by default.”
Avoid over-claims such as “court-proof”, “guaranteed”, “identity verified”, or “proves delivery/condition”.
Privacy & domain separation
- No tracking: no analytics cookies, no fingerprinting; only aggregated daily counters.
- Domain separation: issuance on getevidex.net, verification on read-only verify.getevidex.net.
- No remote scripts: strict CSP, self-hosted assets only.
Transparency snapshot (CT‑lite)
We publish a daily signed Merkle tree head over published receipts (CT‑lite transparency snapshot) to support independent auditing. This improves detectability of silent deletion/backdating patterns.
This is an auditability feature — not a legal guarantee and not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific rules.
